Founder & Managing Director
Over 25 years in Corporate & Investment Banking across four countries and five institutions. Dr. Sorour's career spans debt capital markets & syndications, corporate finance, project finance, credit & risk management, and regional portfolio oversight—across both conventional and Islamic banking.
Most recently, he served as Head of Structured Finance and Acting Head of the Government Sector at Dukhan Bank (QSE: DUBK), Qatar's publicly listed Islamic bank, where he led Sharia-compliant structured transactions for corporate, sovereign, and quasi-sovereign clients. Prior to that, he held senior roles at HSBC (UAE & Egypt) and Samba Financial Group (Saudi Arabia).
He holds a DBA in Finance from SBS Swiss Business School, an MBA from the University of Leicester, and is both a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Sharia Adviser & Auditor—a combination that reflects his fluency across conventional and Islamic financial structures.
